“Joe coached my son, an 8th grader at St. Ursula Villa. It was an exceptional experience for my son as well as the entire team. Joe not only has the attributes to be a good coach but also a good mentor and, by temperament, a good example. In addition to possessing a deep respect for the game of basketball, Joe related to his team by using competition, exceptional communication skills and constant encouragement. My son, like his teammates, improved over the season and increased his passion and understanding of the game. While winning our league was a memorable accomplishment, the manner and methods Joe used to bring the team to that level was the greater experience.”
